Suspected Boko Haram Attack kills 3 today in Doruwa, Garin-Baba village

Unknown gunmen believed to be members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect today attacked Doruwa, Garin-Baba village in Nangere local government area, 110 kilometres west of Damaturu the Yobe state capital, killing three people; a pastor and two of his children.

The military spokesman of the 3 Division Special Operation Battalion, Captain Eli Lazarus who confirmed the incident in a statement says the insurgents stormed Doruwa, Garin-Baba Village in the early hours of today killing a Pastor and two of his children.

The insurgents according to the statement burnt down a church and two other houses in the village before fleeing the scene.

“In the early hours of Thursday, 26 September 2013, unknown gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists attacked Dorawa village in Nangere local government area of Yobe state.

During the attack, a pastor and his 2 children were killed” - ChannelsTV
